Marshfield clinic billing

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Yes it's very expensive and the reason is is they can the world is so messed up and everyone one money hungry no reason to have to pay that much I believe billing should go by income problem solved but it won't they just make money off the poor I won't be going to Dr anymore it's a waste and I'm already struggling to pay our bill which if we don't pay it off in certain time frame they want interest I'm not paying on interest that's horrible that they can do that make even more money off the working class

Marshfield Clinic - Doctor Review

Google reviews Sarah Wojcik Sarah Wojcik in the last week I never go to the doctor because I have to pay for everything out of pocket. Our insurance sucks and has a 15,000 deductable. Anyways after being in a sled accident last night I needed to go in today because I was experiencing excruciating back pain. The nurse was very wonderful and sweet and took good care of me even helping me change In to a gown. Dr. Gavorkian came in and I filled him in on what happened to me the evening prior that I didnt sleep because of the pain and that I was alternating between Ibuprofin and Tylenol and icing, Biofreeze etc. So after palpating the areas on my back he deduced that I had pulled muscles and that it could take up to TWO weeks to feel better! Now today is a Friday and tomorrow is New years Eve and New year's Day no one will be open so basically my regular beloved Doctor is not going to be able to see me, thus i could potentially need to take a trip to urgent care or the ER if things don't improve. So what is bothering me you might ask? Well the fact that I'm in severe pain, the last time I had been in for an injury was three years ago and this pompous, judgemental Doctor writes me out a script for 800 mg Ibuprofin and 6 hydrocodone apap you read that right SIX! I'm pretty good at math being an accountant and all and that will last one day if dosing properly. Shouldn't he at least wrote out enough to give me relief through the Holiday weekend?!?!? He did not take me seriously or didn't care that I would probably suffer over the next several days, possibly weeks. Not impressed with the care I received here at all. They assume people in pain are all a bunch of drug seekers and that's just not true. I did not receive the care and consideration I deserved, I was misjudged and dismissed.

Marshfield Clinic Endocrinology Doctor Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Saw endocrine dr and he said thyroid results were within range although chunks of hair falling out, fatigue and labs out of range per endocrine association current recommendations for ranges. Vitamin d level was also low which he didn't think was important. He was also sarcastic and demeaning. A waste of time and money. Saw a different dr, not MC, that saw the issue immediately.

I have been going to marsh field clinic oak wood center for over 7 months now for neck and shoulder pain and headaches .. So far they have put me on every pill possible and even a anti inflammatory shot.. And nothing worked! Set me up to see pain clinic after a very expensive MRI! Which of course all they said about that was, the protrusions could be causing problems, but not sure.. Also it is taking 3 months to get into pain clinic! They also sent me to some wac guy that talked to me on how to manage my pain with my mind, which cost me $300, I did not ask for that! So the last time I went in, I told them the shot they gave me was not working, and asked if they can give me something for the pain till I got into pain clinic, which was only 1week away , finally! She told me to do some stretches or something, or to just deal with it , really, I can't even move my shoulder without having extreme shooting pain! So all the drugged up , drug abuseing people out there have ruined it for the people that are really in pain!

Marshfield Clinic Family Practice Doctor Review

After seeing 3 Dr's, I was refered to Dr Vesely in the emergency dept. Hands down, one of the best doctors I've ever seen!!! Besides being SO through and figuering out my Dx, he was so kind. He personally called to give me my results and to see how I was doing. I would easily drive the extra 30 miles to see him if I ever again have an emergency:) thank you, Dr. Vesely!

The eye clinic cancels appointments, doesn't tell you, moves appointments around- and it is always your fault. Go somewhere else or subject yourself to continual frustration.

Recieved bill 20 months later

Received a bill for service rendered on 12/05/14 on 8/18/16. Called and they stated that insurance company denied part of the claim and I now owe them money. Asked why denied and told they did not have to provide that as the insurance company is not required to tell them. They just "Recoup" the money. Asked them to provide that in writing and they refused saying legally they can't. Talked to insurance company and they said they billed incorrectly and double charged the office visit by having it in the global charge for service and individually listed and did not respond or resubmit claim. Marshfield does not care if it is their fault or not and expect me to pay.

Agree with this 100%! They definitely overcharge and won't work with you on payment.

I had a bill with them, they weren't working with me, I finally laid it on the line. They were NOT going to get payment in full and they WOULD take payments. Each time they said they wouldn't take a payment I'd offer them a lower amount. The billing person couldn't believe it so they got a manager in on the call.

My offers also flabbergasted the manager (Sorry, this made me laugh! LOL) They finally agreed to take payments...at the lowest amount I offered.

I explained they could have gotten more each month but, since they wouldn't work with me, I wouldn't work with them. I could afford more, and paid more to get rid of the bill, but just the fact that they acted this way was ridiculous!

I called in and talked to the supervisor of nurcing and the supervisor of nurcing at Marshfield clinic in Rice Lake wisconsin after l got my husband home. The supervisor of nurcing, Justified the fact that the nurce told my husband to get away from his own children for the nurce on staff. This is a terrible place to take your family they really need different staff.

The staff keep children away from there ailing patents when the pashionts and there children need to be with each other. In the E.R. department of Marshfield Clinic Rice Lake Wisconsin. They also keep new born babies away from the fathers after the babies are born, this way of doctoring is to old fashioned and hard on families and is treble to do to children.

My son was seen by a doctor at Marshfield Clinic that we have gone. We were treating him at home for a wart. The doctor insisted on treating him stating that he would get rid of it faster. The results were 4 Weeks Later, which I could have done at home, and a bill for over $900 for this service! Needless to say we will be finding a new doctor not affiliated with this business in any way for all future Services. It is absolutely ridiculous that hard-working people can't even afford to be seen by a doctor anymore!

The Marshfield Clinic Ruptured Ovarian Cyst Treatment Review from San Tan Valley, Arizona

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Unfortunately I think of you, Dr Michael Machelski, of the Weston clinic in WI. You see you changed my life forever when you worked at the clinic in Merrill, WI. I only wish I could say it was for the good. I had a ruptured ovarian cyst in 2004. While operating you perforated my bowel. After 5 days the radiologist told you about the problem that i was building up with bile which is why i was getting sicker and you yelled at me for continually vomiting and threatened to put the tube back in me if i didnt stop vomiting. You then came in my room and said "woops, i must have nicked your bowel." My husband came up to the hospital and it was late, like ten at night. Since your obvious lack of attention and knowledge to the problem i have had over a dozen intestinal surgeries. I am now diagnosed with Short Bowel Syndrome and only have 75 centimeters left of my bowel. I am on iv nutrition also. When you go to open your next patient think and be honest are you truly qualified to operate on anyone. I wish i would have gotten a lawyer and sued you and from what i understand, seeing im continuing to have complications caused by you, i still can. I do have wonderful GIs backing me up and doing what they can but when will i need my transplant. Will insurance pay for it? They wont pay the 300,000 a year for my Gattex that I need and cannot afford. Where do I go from here?

No help trying to make appointment for oral surgery.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I am out of state and need to make an appointment for a dental implant. They require a referral from a dentist--fair enough. But they won't take the referral from my out of state dentist and will accept a referral only from a Marshfield Clinic dentist. Thy had no idea what other dentists in the area used tools that were compatible with those of their oral surgeon. The person I talked to at the Stevens Point office was rude and uncooperative. The person in Wisconsin Rapids was pleasant and cooperative but since they no longer have an oral surgeon there, she could not help me.

Billing

Be careful that they work with your insurance company -they did not with mine-so bad the insurance company held a meeting with our entire workforce and advised NOT to use Marshfield Clinic at all. Once everything was said and done had a payment plan set up with them and making payments but they still turned it over to thier collection agency Americollect and they do not give a *** about you or working something out all they want is the money.

Joe at Marshfield Clinic in Hallie wi on October 6th I have had a serious migraine for two days at this point which has now gone on to 3 days I went in and all she did was listen to my heart and tell me that if the pain medication that I am currently taking for my back doesn't help my migraine there is absolutely nothing she could do... every time I have gone to a doctor for severe migraines they have given me a shot which has relieved the pain ..the medication I take for my back is a small dose under a 12 hour release ..which I have been taking for years..how this is supposed to help my migraine is beyond me? she did give me nausea medication which unfortunately made me throw up after I took it this was the worst doctor visit I have ever had what does listening to my heart have to do with a pounding headache that feels like imy head is getting bashed in by a sledgehammer ..this is what you get when doctors look at you like a drug seeker I refuse to ever see this doctor again it was the worst service I have ever received..now I'm going to get a 300 dollar bill for having a doctor listen to my heart.. and I'm now on day three of extreme pain....thanks for the help Dr Jo.
